Dowsing
Dowsing is an ancient tradition and means for Divination, or ascertaining information from Higher Intelligence which is normally inaccesible to the conscious mind. It was originally developed as a means for finding water. Dowsers, utilizing wishbone shaped sticks found ways to determine where to dig for water by paying attention to the subtle movements of the sticks. This tradition has evolved into a means to ask the Universe questions. Miles dowses for highly beneficial self-care modalities, flower essences, and Chinese herbal formulas. He makes custom flower remedies and works with a Chinese herbalist for health-enhancing herbal formulas. Miles also offers dowsing services for those who wish to gain clarity on questions about their life and Purpose. Please contact Miles for more information about fifteen minute, thirty minute, and hour long dowsing services. Several forms of dowsing have emerged, all of which serve to receive guidance from Higher intelligence through asking yes-no questions to the High Self of an individual. Thus, if an individual is choosing between two jobs, and wants to know which is more rightly aligned with his or her Highest Purpose, dowsing can be used to communicate with the High Self. Additionally, dowsing can be used to identify foods and medications which strengthen and weaken energies. In Miles' practice, dowsing is used to find priority for how to work with his clients. He uses dowsing to find out which modalities will be the most effective for the present moment. He also dowses to find out which organs, meridians, and acupuncture points most need healing. He prioritizes his balances based on the results. Dowsing is remarkably similar to, and has been given some credibility by, kinesiology, or muscle testing. Kinesiology involves testing muscle strength in order to gather information about allergies, foods, problem areas, and working solutions. Dowsing has the advantage of not using muscles which can become fatigued over time, resulting in decreased accuracy and precision.
